About the Business Development Manager role

They are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to help accelerate their growth. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities within the HR and L&D market. If you’re a highly driven professional with experience in selling into HR and L&D teams, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the team during an exciting period of expansion.

In the BDM role you will have the following responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and target new business opportunities within the HR and L&D sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in prospective client organisations.
  • Understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to tailor solutions effectively.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the innovative Learning and Development solutions.
  • Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to ensure successful onboarding and implementation of new clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Build relationships with Channel partners to grow the brand further.

What are they looking for?

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, with a focus on selling into HR and L&D teams.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player.
  • Knowledge of the Learning and Development industry is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Experience building channel partnerships within the L&D space would be desirable.
