£45,000 – £50,000 + commission + car allowance

About the Account Manager Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join their growing IT Managed Services team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, understanding their IT needs, and providing them with exceptional service.

As Account Manager you will have the following responsibilities.

  • Manage a portfolio of SME clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and growth
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their IT needs and requirements
  • Proactively identify and propose new IT solutions that meet the client’s business objectives
  • Work closely with our technical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services to clients
  • Act as a point of escalation for client issues and ensure swift resolution
  • Maintain accurate client records and provide regular reporting to senior management
  • Attend client meetings and contribute to the development of account plans
  • Work closely with the wider teams in Sales and Marketing effectively.


What are they looking for?

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on account management within IT Managed Services
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and projects, and meet deadlines
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud services
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • A demonstrable track record of growing an account base in an IT Managed Services environment
